Who we are

Our Story

Filmatics is an award-winning transmedia production network based in Los Angeles, California. We specialize in crafting stories across an array of media platforms.

As technology continues to evolve, the tools that exist to tell, deliver, and share stories have become more fluid and social. At Filmatics, we specifically design narrative worlds for today’s truly engaged culture.

Our stories don't end when you leave the theater or take off your headset; they continue to evolve through media outlets and audience participation.

WHAT IS TRANSMEDIA?

Filmatics Founder, Writer/Director Elia Petridis offers "a way of telling stories in a fictional world, using the right piece of media to embrace the particular scope of that story. The stories are not reliant on one another for meaning, but simply enrich each other".

FAN ENGAGEMENT

Transmedia encourages the fan to truly embrace the creative and continue to revisit it - as the world they love continues to grow across platforms. For example, The Filmatics “Eye for an Eye” world is accessed through film, music, a graphic comic, a short story, a short film, social media and VR.
